Started following a career in both active duty Navy and Department of Navy civil service, CraigMadsenConsulting was formed to allow me to assist others in their work with or within the Department of the Navy or other government organizations. With deep experience in creating, competing and managing government contracts; strategic planning; Program and Project Management; and with high level communications skills, I can help organizations wanting to do business with the government, wanting to define or refine their organizational strategy, or even build briefing or written material to succinctly convey ideas at the Executive level.
With extensive experience in designing, competing, evaluating, awarding and managing post-award multiple government contracts (both for products and services), I can help you in competing for government work. This ranges from interpreting RFP's, identifying critical competitive differentiators and drafting proposals.
Using tools ranging from the top-level Harvard Strategic Triangle approach to (among other tools) the mechanical X-Matrix implementation design, I can help at the organizational or individual team level in shaping top level ideas and proposals all the way to detailed implementation planning with appropriate metrics.
Having managed multiple projects and programs ranging from small pilot projects to $8B+ programs with staffs of over 500 employees and support contractors, I can assist in developing and/or running appropriate organizational structures to achieve success. An expert communicator, I can assist in drafting white papers, briefing materials and supporting documentation to ensure senior level support of project or program efforts.
